Strokes
In this painting of Jackson Pollock shows nothing but random splash of dark and light paint. The dull colour, lack of subject makes it look uninteresting and it basically looks like a mess
Clearly, the point of the painting is nothing ,but more than anyone else knows, it shows the beauty of simplicity by just using only succeeding shades of a colour, and as we all can notice the splashes are repetitive, they are all almost the same size and length. The painting might not mean something, but by the looks of it, the paint splash symbolizes as the emotion and the struggle of the painter as he loosely create amazing paint strokes.
The whole painting, for me, looks boring ,but at the same time it is something that encourages me to like something simple even though it doesn't look like it was created with full effort, but as my interpretation to the painting, it is something similar to a forest, a dark forest that is very comforting and peaceful and somewhat creepy, and that maybe is what the artist is trying to paint that shows more of his feelings than the actual subject of the painting.

The Doctor
The painting The Gross Clinic fascinated me just not because its realistic its because the illusion of depth as seen in the audience of the painting, they dont look as realistic as the doctor.Though the audiences doesnt look much realistic,it added a bit of cartoonish in the painting which is very smooth for the eyes to see.
For me,gross doesnt really comply to me as the title suggests(from what I can see from the painting) it is one of the fine painting that is ever composed.I also like the fact that the painting doesnt contain a lot of bursting colors that makes it look clean and very presentable for a realistic type of painting and as I can notice the subject of the painting is the one which is very detailed unlike from the other characters inside the painting. The doctor has the most detailed from the all, which suggests to me that this is the main subject of this whole painting and is the most eye witnessing.
Cubisms
The 20th century is popular mostly because of cubism, and fantasy style artworks.
Cubism is something that is very amazing style of art that consists a lot of deep meanings but it is hard to recognize which contrasted the painting Guernica of Pablo Picasso.
The Guernica painting is easy to recognize unlike the other cubism compositions. You can see an explosion, the reaction of the people, the pain felt and how devastated is was. Also,a single color and the shades of it made it easy to feel the mood of the artist
From the very slight detail of the painting you can actually feel what its like to be in there,or what its like to be part of the story of the painting which is very tragic. In the painting was the people who are killed of the air bombings, each character of the painting gives a significant meaning and feeling to the viewer.
The painting, for me tells a new way of giving 'help' by paint strokes, that lets the nation know about what really happened and what is it to be felt.
I've seen Guernica a lot of time but never really impacted me to get to see and understand the power of political statement of the artist towards the people that devastated the village. And for me ,this king of painting is a start off to create an artwork that means a lot for people and for the country
