Disadvantage or Advantage?

Do we really have a separate time for the things we needed to do than just wait for our hands  go numb with all the swiping,tapping and clicking? We often forgot the work we needed to accomplish ,its like we have our self revolving around the world of media.
Most said excused was because media is so entertaining that its really hard to take off once you've started it and its true.Media had affected us in many ways,we are the generation of touch and click that we even find books less interesting unlike stories that are downloadable on our gadgets.
But never we do know that while we are distracted and entertained,we are slowly gaining knowledge about what type of media we are using and we began to visualize the media now and in the past because teenagers like me wasn't really born with this much technology.Fully enhanced technology was (maybe) made public in the near 2004's and what made us stick with these type of technologies is because we grow alongside with them.

What an old man can teach a kid are the lessons which are treasured or brought until the adult stage of a man,these teachings are somehow the reason of our choices today.In terms of media,the "old" can be preferred as the established or the constructed or the starting age of technology and communication,we wouldn't have a modernized media if we didn't started from huge cellular phones,books,heavy typewriters.The spread of media has been a lot faster today since everyone has an idea of how and what to improve in the current media just like books,it is required to make revisions.
Media had also made all things accessible even old media,it is now accessible in a modernized way.
Old media teaches us to make use of all the available information but not to rely on just a single source,because have you seen a current issue being announced only in one television station?No and the thing which is importantly taught to us is to have a contact with whom you are having a conversation with,because who knows if who you're talking to is a dog,an alien or a female pretending to be a male and that's one main reason why people have the guts to cyberbully since they don't know what expression a person can make behind the screen.
Although both medias share similarities,new media is always the improved version of the old media and both of them gives a balance of positives and negatives to a person.

We evolve just like Pokemons

Its really hard how we cope up with technology right now,just as the quote says "The only permanent in this world is change"and as we get along with years,developers and engineers discovers more exceeding to what we have expected,they study things that are more for humanity,expanding a person's intelligence.

As years passes by,media also evolves along with us,we would never notice that what media we have today are slowly fading and is being exchanged to a new set of medias.Just like when a most awaited book comes out of the market we'll probably check that book just because we want to keep ourselves up with the trend.

 Hobbies nowadays are those that are everyone's trend example,If a person is using a pen and a paper in this generation,he would constantly feel awkward because everyone around him are using tabs,touchscreens all digitalized,he would then choose to blend with people using the new media. 

However,these medias we have today let's say 3years will be obsolete.I think the point of engineers on making and evolving media is to teach us not to be so attached with what we have today,we need to adapt with the changing of media,because not all the time we are on the same trend as others,just like media we might or might not like but we have to evolve. 

This evolving of media affects me too much,it saddens me just because I have mostly of new media and I realized that yes I have it most but do I still have the guts to use these medias after 5years?I dont think so.

 And the deal here is no matter how awesome it is or the way you own media makes you a cool person will be useless I mean its not new to us that the girl on my school has an Iphone 6 or when that guy who is not a photographer but owns a DSLR its very normal for us to see that most people already had a touch of new media.

Insert respect

Ourselves has changed so much, the reasons mainly is because on how we use media.Media can change someone or something from being responsible to being lazy and from difficult to easy,but somehow we managed to learn things from the people we meet along the bridges of internet or the lessons we captured from books.The services of media is so wide that even just a click you can see your parents using videos or every question that pops in our head is just a type away but,its also the reason for laziness since we already know that its fast to get information,we wouldn't bother to use our mind but instead we'll just hundred percent rely on the details automatically given by media.

Overusing media has a lot of side effects for example,glancing through social media sites than other informative webpages.Media is really known for giving fast details about everything that is happening around the globe.but since this generation focuses more on entertainment and communication and it is essential to us to have our assignments or powerpoints posted on social medias.However,using and not abusing media is not a thousand pages to learn which is the society are getting tired repeatedly reminding of using media in a good way,its in your own presence of how would you like to end up using media though,most of the people are being reckless around social media since you're not talking to that person personally and you couldn't identify if the person is hurt that's why you have that brave heart to go bragging about rude things.I think people should be considerate not because we are behind the screens of our gadgets doesn't mean its our time to barge in to someone's status and give rude opinions,for that's not how media works,but also media doesn't always have to give sugar-coated phrases but the thing is you can express your opinion in a nice way.


I think ourselves should already have the mind to intelligently use media and a heart to respect people who are using the same media,since it plays an important role to our life why don't we try to make a significant to admire everyone and to teach those who lack of manners to do so.
Most of the people are almost like that nowadays,why won't we make a change and separate ourselves from them.

Plot twist

Time spent on new media,sleepless nights because of extreme grinding on researches through old media is very tough even we if have different kinds of tools to make things easier and faster,but the thing is we also have to consider the things that's in our mind not just being dependent on the both ways of media,and that's how we learn.But,mostly of us teenagers don't get the enough sleep is not because of the needed works but because of our distractions in social media.In that case,we mostly have that tiny imaginative voices that calls us forth to check how my facebook is going,how many retweets did I get on my latest tweet or simply reading a random recipe on some blogging sites.It's just sad how teenagers like us spend more time entertaining ourselves than doing anything productive.However,these days because of social media its difficult to understand what are the intentions of people,for instance meeting a person online whom you knew was a female but in reality it was the opposite,and sometimes it would be worse.People has been connecting to new media rapidly but they lack on safety.It's really important to know somethings before you have yourself attached to new media just like keeping in mind that you should never expose your private information along the wide connections of media.

New media tends to give us a good and fast communication to others,and its our part to do something nice for each other who is using the media.I believe that someone who can't respect a person on medias shouldn't have the privilege to use them,its just idiotic to spend your time trying to piss of someone and leave it like that like nothing happens,like you didn't offended someone and I don't think those type of people should have the authority to use such medias.

On my second week of class I've observed how people are happy and understanding when they interact personally,like how some sort of people deliver a joke is funnier than reading it through a chat or a book same thing as when a professor is teaching in front of his class is for me much better than just waiting for the professor to give the handouts and pdf files which leads to just opening it when the exam is about to give.In conclusion,we have to balance media as it is and also we should lend sometime interacting with people personally that will give us a good image of ourselves.

Realizations

I learned how to manage my time between the new and the old media. This is by far my favorite realization ever since I was introduced to technology. I used to take new media for granted, often crossing the line between utilizing it and abusing it. But now I am aware of the negative effects that come along with misusing it. As a result, I have learned to gradually lessen my usage of new media. To be completely honest, submerging myself in new media and completely losing interest in old media was a big mistake. I thought that not appreciating books, television, or newspapers was a good thing but I have learned that it is not. Now, I can see how lovely old media is. Books, for example, are so full of phrases that have the capability to capture you and attach themselves to you forever. It amazes me how much a group project could change your angle on something. Sometimes it takes five voices for you to understand that everything in this world was created for a purpose, no matter how old fashioned or mainstream it is. A single computer software can indeed change your life for the worse, but you wouldn’t be able to realize it until you are completely consumed. Media has connected us to people from all over the world, and it’s time for us to use it the way we want to become.

In addition to that,media is a habit that is really hard to take off, that's why from the very beginning you have to think about the things on how will it affect you and the people around you because in the end,it will be the struggle of you and how you abused media.

Media Adaptation

 Remember when a guy knocks on your door just to sell you newspapers,or those old movie with some old sceneries and noisy typewriters? I bet kids today doesn't have any idea how important those were back in the days,even today.Remember that moment when your finger felt numb for hours of holding a book ,it still do but now because of phones and tablets.I know some people wouldn't appreciate the existence of the old media but come think of it if those old and rusty medias didn't exist then what would be our first stepping stone to invent something that is faster and easier that we have today.People would probably invent something more convenient,faster media than what we are using now but lets face it,there will come a time that you have to read a newspaper, open a book ,because nowadays we have that mindset that's like: Oh I'ts a famous dictionary site surely we'll get an accurate information from it well its not like all of the people in this generation have that mindset but its a self experience and for me the main reason for that is we like to find something that is good enough to feed the information we need as quickly as possible so like most of your projects we rely on new media,since some people can adopt easily to changing technology I've noticed that even teachers uses new media to provide their students a glimpse of information and its up to us to add something to that given information and I really like how it goes that we dont have to completely  stop our learning by what's given to us but you have to try different medias to fill your mind with different opinions of different sources.

"We all make mistakes.But social media can frame those mistakes and display them infinitely" However,not just your mistakes but even your life information ,no wonder strangers can identify you without meeting them personally.Even with just a ring of a notification they will know that its your birthday,what place you've been or simply your last night's dinner.
